This week's Made on Monday started out like this:
A peony from my garden, which I photographed last year. Then I did a little digital manipulation and came up with this:
I printed this image onto cotton and began stitching.
I stitched only the flower, not the foliage around it. To set it off a bit more, I quilted around the perimeter of the flower through a very thin layer of batting.
