Daily Color: “Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over tangerine groves and long melon fields; the sun the color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgundy red, the fields the color of love and Spanish mysteries.” –Jack Kerouac
Just off the needles, a new scarf:
I designed this scarf for Grand Isle Art Works, and I will be teaching it in a class to be scheduled for this coming fall.
The yarn is the sportweight South Hero Blend (50% mohair, 50% Leicester-Romney wool) from Yellow Dog Farm, in three colors.
I'm also working on a companion cowl, using the same yarns but in different colorwork. The pattern for both the scarf and the cowl will be available soon from Grand Isle Art Works.
